Behind The Fairy Tales that We Adore

 Time after time, we dreamt of becoming a princess living in a castle waiting to be swept away by our prince. We would imagine conquering the evil using magical powers and with the help of little odd friends who never really existed. How we adored those fairy godmothers and genies, and we would imagine having them around to help grant our simple wishes and hearts’ desires.

 As kids, we would close our eyes and toss coins in the wishing well and wished that we could be princess and fairies. We longed to ride the magic carpet to be able to soar above and see the whole world. We were always scared of beasts! Oh, how we ever wanted to wear those dazzling gowns and attend a ball to look like a princess. These are the things that we have dreamt of. These and more could only happen in that once upon a time saga.

 But really, what makes a fairy tale? What does it have that makes us dream? What’s behind the classic tales that we have dreamed about? What’s the secret ingredient that makes us feel happy and joyous whenever we would hear them? Fairy Tales certainly has played an important role in the life of any children all over the world. From one generation to another, fairy tale stories have been passed down. But really, where are fairy tales nowadays? The new generation kids should have be able to hear the magical tales that we once listened to. If we were able to enjoy them decades ago, they would too. The grin on their faces would show how much they love Snow White, Cinderella and more because Fairy Tales make good stories.

It covers a broad and deeper spectrum filled with things that sometimes cannot be explained and can only be seen in a place called the magical land: with beasts and fairies that make us wonder; countless stars sparkling above winking at us; the perils that await our favorite heroes and heroines; and we are fascinated with the beauty that surrounds us. Strange as it may be, it makes us fall in love in many ways. It sometimes makes us feel fragile as a little child and courageous as that handsome prince. Yet, there are a number of more reasons why we do. These are the factors that make a classic fairy tale a treasured one.

Classic Fairy tales tell stories on love. It conveys love stories or spoken tales. Love is essential in a fairy tale because it adds cohesion to every story and is a distinguishing factor between the good and the evil. These tales give our children a deeper understanding of love. It makes them think that love comes from the good side and that no matter what happens, the good shall always prevail over the bad one. It gives them the idea that villains are no better than anything. Stories of love and happy endings are ideal for kids. It provides ample performance of their brain that makes them stay positive and happy all the time.

It gives the children hope and encourages positive attitude by living in a world of fantasy. Living in a world of fantasy may have some positive effects on children. It will help them dream and reach for goals that they want to achieve. They make a good bedtime story for children. It also encourages active participation like becoming fairy godmother, prince, princess, a lion or anything that their imagination would let them be. They can easily perceive messages delivered by a certain tale.

It helps them develop a sense of responsibility. Children, even at a young age, develop a sense of responsibility through the classic tales that they hear. The values in every tale that is shown, like the kindness and honesty that they see on film and the tragedy that a certain hero or heroine would have to surpass to be able to get through life, gives the kids a positive approach towards life. It makes them responsible by doing good things for their siblings and trying to protect them from anything that may harm them. Classic Fairy Tales bring good values to the children and help enable the kids to adapt these certain values.

It teaches moral lessons. A tale teaches moral values. All stories share a common principle- the good will always prevail. The good-mannered hero will not be overpowered by the wicked. It clearly shows that evil ways should not be applied in any way. Children will always remember the consequence that cruel people has to face.
